FSA funds are generally subject to a "use-it-or-lose-it" rule by the end of your plan year.
Standard Deadline: For many plans, the deadline is December 31st.
Employer Extensions: Your employer may offer a grace period (typically until March 15th of the following year) or a limited carryover amount (up to $660 from 2025 into 2026, or $680 from 2026 into 2027).
Run-out Period: You'll have an additional period (usually 60-90 days) after the plan year ends to submit claims for services already incurred.
