Comprehensive Eye Care
Cataract Evaluation
A cataract evaluation includes a discussion of your visual symptoms and a complete eye exam. If surgery is recommended, your doctor will speak to you about your various options to aid in surgical planning.
Comprehensive Eye Exam
Everyone should have a baseline eye examination, but particularly those who have a family history of eye diseases, such as glaucoma or macular degeneration, or those with medical conditions, including diabetes and hypertension.
Common eye conditions that may be screened for at your visit include:
Dry eyes
Glaucoma
Cataract
Macular Degeneration
Diabetic eye disease
We recommend that all individuals 65 or older have annual eye exams as these diseases become more prevalent in the aging population.
Diabetic Eye Exam
People at greater risk of developing diabetic eye disease are those who have had uncontrolled diabetes for many years. Anyone newly-diagnosed with diabetes should have a screening eye exam and follow up annually for evaluation.
